Birthday with young friends

Another Birthday treats .. thanks to Karen, Huinee and Hueyshan!

Lovely frangipani lined up on the platform leading to the restaurant!

Numerous times to PS cafe but the food is still amazingly wonderful. Food portions are huge and we decided to share our food.

Our favourite Truffle shoestring fries ! The PS Harding club was heaven! Must order this again in my next visit!

Forest and Marine Life Park !

Yeah ... a Birthday celebration at Forest and Marine Life Park in Sentosa !

For lunch before Marine Life Park, we went to this restaurant called "Forest" or "森" was opened none other than the famous local chef, Sam Leong in Equarius Hotel.
Little thoughtfulness for guests who have bag and do not know where to hung them ...

Nature has been brought into the interior of the restaurant ... four elegantly structured tall trees with branches extended out to meet at the centre of the ceiling!

The vertical green wall is made up of real plants. Such a pleasing effect for the eyes! The colour contrast of green and brown blended in seamlessly with the choice of furniture.

 A unique and refreshing cherry tomato in plum sorbet for everyone.

 Finally, we entered Marine Life Park, the biggest SEA Aquarium in the world! A relatively big tank on the left side immediately after you enter the park.

A jellyfish ... this little fellow looks quite beautiful to me ....

This breed of gigantic jellyfish are fascinating to watch !

The corals are just too beautiful ...

If you like the marine life, this is a good place to rest your eyes on the these creatures. They do have a calming effect on me personally just to watch them swim. However, choose a weekday to visit this place if you really wanted a more relaxing excursion.

I was on annual leave on this particular day ... it was a great day for some baking indeed.

 With personalized names on the cream cheese frosting !

Durian Puffs

So tempted by anything made from delicious durian ... decided to try my hands on baking some durian puffs instead.

 The choux pastry ... praying that they turned out ok ....

 Yeah, the first batch doesn't turn out too bad for first attempt !
If they were baked, the pastry will be hollow inside... just nice to pipe some durian puree into it!

Sprinkle some icing sugar to finish the look!

Niece's ROM

Congratulations to my niece on her big day with Gerard !
I have first seen her since she was in Primary School and now she is already officially married!

Kinda "engaged" as one of her photographers on her ROM day.
The ROM has changed since then. The interior has a new facelift which looks more spacious and cheerful.
