The passing of our founding father, Mr Lee KY on 23 March 2015 has indeed inspired many Singaporeans including myself to look at this small but successful country in a different angle.
There are many things in life that we might have taken for granted just because we have not been through the worst ...the Japanese occupation, the racial riots, the uncertainty of being separated from Malaya, the challenges of building a seaport into a first world country etc ...
Mediacorp has broadcasted a series of Mr Lee's struggles, his vision and his affirmation to build this nation into a cosmopolitan city of today. These series of insights have made us understand what a great man with formidable foresight and determination has transformed our lives entirely!

Yes, Singaporeans are the lucky folks to have someone as visionary and selfless as Mr Lee during our turbulent times, tirelessly leading the nation to achieve what we have achieved today! H
