One of the main streets ....
Darrell Lea chocolates ... one of my favourite hand-made chocolates to buy back from Australia. This shop is located at 120a Liverpool Street.
Next, we proceeded to locate our accommodation in Hobart, Somerset by the Pier.
Pretty reasonable size loft .. not exactly impressed by the house keeping though. There were some crumbs on the sofa ... the furnishing was quite old too. Overall, it was still comfortable and the view from the window was fantastic !
Looking down from the stairs ...
The view from the living area's window ...
And in the early morning ...
The "Somerset by the Pier" with a few restaurants ...
It was too early for dinner, therefore we took a walk by the Constitution Dock.
One of the most recommended restaurants in Hobart is Drunken Admiral, which has been operating as a family run restaurant since 1979.
The fresh oysters ...
Yummy sticks of seafood and big bowl of fries
Fried chicken pieces with spices ... this dish has a rather oriental taste to it ...
A small lemon tart with meringues
It was a chilling evening as we walked back to the Somerset by the Pier.
The streets is quiet after just 5:30pm ... we kinda expected that and therefore, we spent most our evening relaxing in our apartment watching "Xi Li Ren Qi" over a pot of tea!
