Our breakfast for the morning ... to start the day.
Just wanted to do dressed up to take a few photos of ourselves in Richmond Village.
Richmond bridge is the oldest bridge in Australia.
And the bridge is still in use till today ...
St John's Catholic Church (1837) and burial ground. It is the oldest Catholic Church in Australia! This church is less than 5 minutes walk from Richmond bridge.
The interior of the relatively old church ...The burial grounds just outside the catholic church ...
As we were driving out from Richmond village, this lovely field of yellow flowers caught our eyes.
And the lovely black and white spotted cows ... my favourite breed of cows ... they look so peaceful grazing on the grass ...
Next, we visited Bonarong Wildlife Sanctuary. The lovable Koala bear .. who can resist the cute look?
This little one was sitting on the floor ...
This pretty and vain peacock "blocked" our lane to another area in the park ...
The Tasmania Devil ! This guy is confined alone and he has been going round and round around his pen. It is almost predictable what he will do next as we watched him for almost 15 minutes!
Another bigger pen where there are four Tasmania Devils ... we only managed to spot three so far.
Feeding time with a wallaby's limb! Doesn't sound appetizing, isn't it ? Tasmania Devils are scavengers .
Despite it's small size, during feeding time, the sound they made is devilish!
An animal feed (pallets) were given to each visitor ... most of the kangeroos were not hungry anyhow.
Most were just lying around and having a good and relaxing time ...A one year old wombat came out for his feed ... a cute little fellow.
I was glad that the little one came nearer to the hay so that I could captured his cute face!
He must be hungry!
A little itch ...
This is another tiny wombat which given to the Wildlife Park by someone who him almost dead. He was nursed back to health by the park.
